By plane: Ferihegy airport in Budapest welcomes flights from all over the world on a regular basis. It is placed 21 kilometres from the apartment on Szofia Utca. An airport shuttle bus and a train work to connect the terminal with downtown.
By car: As you leave Ferihegy airport, take Ferihegyi Repülotérre Vezeto Út and you will come to Vecsés, where you must go along E60/ 4. Turn left in Ulloi Ut and you will pass by the XVIII and X districts. Take road 4 and continue along Joszef Korut and Erszebet Korut. You will arrive in the VI district, where you must take Terez Korut and turn right in Szofia Utca. You will find the apartment at number 15, 2 minutes walking from the Oktogon square. (30 minutes)
By train: At Budapest airport you will find the minibus that works as Airport Shuttle and takes you to downtown Budapest, whatever is the address you may request; there are also trains reaching the centre in less than half and hour. The latter get to Western railway station, called "Nyugati", which is not far from the apartment; the Eastern train station, called "Keleti", is also close by.
From Keleti station, get on the metro (red line, or M2, direction Déli) and change trains at the third stop -Vörösmarty tér-; take the yellow line (M1, direction Mexikoi) and get off at the third stop, Oktogon. At Nyugati, get on the metro (blue line, or M3, direction Kobanya-Kispest) and change trains at the third stop -Vörösmarty tér-; take the yellow line (M1, direction Mexikoi) and get off at the third stop, Oktogon. From Oktogon, go along Andrassy Ut street as if you were heading to Hosok Tere: turn right in the first street, Eotvos Utca, and left in Szofia Utca. |
