 Andrássy Hotel is located in central Pest, on the beautiful Andrássy út. This two-and-a-half kilometre (1.5 m.) long avenue was constructed at the end of the last century almost simultaneously from both ends; the resulting row of buildings, mainly neo-Renaissance and neo-Baroque, thus gives an impression of unity. Once you get past the rather built up and hectic (though still picturesque) section of Andrássy út that leads to Oktogon, you will discover that the street suddenly changes. Huge and beautiful buildings with intricate and ornate façades are separated from the main road by grassy traffic islands - reflecting good urban planning. |

From the Airport
Airport Minibus Service is at your disposal, or you can book in advance our fee-paying pick-up service.
From the West Railway Station (Nyugati Pályaudvar)
Take the tram 4 or 6 in front of the railway station (direction Pest). Get off at Oktogon (1 stop) and change to Metro yellow line (M1). You need to travel three stops and get off at "Bajza utca". Get out of the underground and walk ahead on the Andrássy Avenue. You will find us on your right hand side after 150 meters (anyway, the main entrance of the hotel is on "Munkacsy Mihaly", so you have to turn right).
From the South Railway Station (Déli Pályaudvar)
Take the underground M2 (red line) as far as Deák tér, here change to the M1 (yellow line) and get off at "Bajza utca" (6th stop). Follow above indications.
From the East Railway Station (Keleti Pályaudvar)
Take the underground M2 (red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar (southern railway station). Get off at Deák tér (3rd stop), here change to the M1 (yellow line) and get off at "Bajza utca" (6th stop). Follow above indications.
By Car
Coming from motorway M1/M7 follow the signs towards Erzsébet-híd (Elisabeth bridge). Right after crossing the bridge turn right to get to the quay and follow the river to the north. Leave the quay before reaching the Chainbridge (Lánchíd) cross the tramline, turn right, then left to József Attila utca. Drive straight as far as you reach Deák tér (a bigger crossing) here you need to drive in the middle lane and follow the sign of road M3, this will take you to Andrássy út. At Oktogon square drive always straight (for about 1km) and you'll find us on your right hand side. But to get to the main entrance of the hotel, you have to turn right onto "Munkacsy Mihaly". |
