| | |  The Hotel Wien is located in the XI district on the Buda side. The hotel has a direct access to the M1 and M7 highways to Vienna and Lake Balaton. The centre of Budapest is only 10 minutes from the hotel by public transportation. Not far from the hotel can be found the famous Castle district with it's popular museums and buildings. The area is well connected by public means of transport to the city centre. The airport is situated only 40 minutes far from us. |

From the Airport:
Passengers are taken by a direct bus service from Terminals 1 and 2, called the "Airport Bus" or by taxi.
By Car:
Coming from motorway M1/M7 drive always straight on the "Budaorsi Ut" following signposts to the city centre, and after a while you will notice our hotel on your right hand side. From M3 and M5 Motorways and from other roads:
Please follow the boards towards the centre, than towards the M1 and M7 Motorways.
By Train:
From the Western train station "Nyugati pályaudvar": take the tram No 6 until "Moszkva tér" and then you can take the Tram-Villamos no.61 and get off at "Budaorsi Ut".
From the Southern train station "Déli pályaudvar": take bus no. 139 and get off at "Sasadi út".
From the Eastern train station "Keleti pályaudvar":
take Metro No 2 (red line) until "Moszkva tér" station or (the next stop) to "Déli pályaudvar" station. Follow above indications.
To Downtown from the Hotel: Busstop "Sasadi út" is 50 m from the hotel. Take bus nr. 239 to reach the city centre direct. In 10 minutes you are downtown. With bus nr.139 to the final station "Déli pu." (railway station), change to the red metro (nr. 2) up to the central station "Deák tér", or you can use the bus nr. 139 up to the station "Hegyalja út" (3rd stop) then change to bus nr. 8 up to the final station at the foot of the Elisabeth Bridge on the Pest side and while you cross the Danube, you get a little view of Budapest - 20 minutes and you are in the city centre. |
